Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look over my website.
I am Trisha (Patricia) and I am a qualified, registered and experienced counsellor with over 20 years experience helping people overcome life’s difficulties, changes and challenges to build satisfying futures.
I offer a warm, accepting, skilled approach to helping you manage your difficulties. My training enables me to practice in ways that can allows a flexible approach to promoting the changes and outcomes that you seek, tailored to your individual personality and circumstances.
Since qualifying over two decades ago I have gained extensive experience, working in private practice, the NHS, voluntary and community services as a counsellor, and as a non-medical mental health mentor in higher education.
I now solely work in private practice offering individual support, guided self-help workshops and training for professionals.
Professional standards
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP), and an associate member of the Association of Coaching and am bound by their Ethical Codes of Conduct.
I have full professional insurance, have enhanced clearance with the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) for working with vulnerable adults and children, and am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
